With this in mind, we are pleased to introduce the Elite Carbon Type 1, designed specifically in a webbing configuration. Featuring the 12K Carbon Step-2 hard-shell, fully enveloped in a neoprene liner and internal closed- cell Fusion foam, the Elite Carbon Type 1 offers the same meticulous attention to biometric data shaping and scientific fit as its Hyperlock counterpart, all within a webbing-based design. With the inclusion of the TRAD spreader, this harness sets new standards that exceed traditional expectations.
Why Still Use Webbing?
Harnesses incorporating webbing first emerged in 1974 with the pioneering work of Pat Love and Ken Klied, who recognized its exceptional combination of strength, flexibility, and reliability, particularly suited for windsurfing.
